In order to support the government’s program in developing the usage of biofuels as the new energy in Indonesia, APROBI (Indonesia Biofuel Producer Association) was established at the end of 2006, consists biodiesel and bioethanol companies. It has been a tremendous 13 year-long partnership with the Government and other parties regarding the optimizing the usage of biofuels in Indonesia, which is also being supported within international forums.
The principle of APROBI is based on Pancasila and The 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia, APROBI is established with vision and mission as listed:
- To gather all biofuels companies in the industry.
- To unite business actors in the biofuels industry throughout Indonesia, making it as an economic power to increase the prosperity of the people, nation and NKRI.
- Become a partner of the Central Government and Regional Government in order to formulate policies and to increase the qualified role of Indonesia’s biofuels in the national and international markets.
